My LAST Area...

So I'm back in Londrina, the Tiradentes Zone, in Cambé-Paraná. I think about 100 yards separates it from Londrina. I feel good about the work I did in Marilia, but I'm glad to be back in Parana in Londrina. The members help a lot more. The ward I'm in is called Cambé.

My companion is Elder Evangelista. He's from Sao Paulo. He's been out on his mission for almost a year. I thought I was gonna be just plain old senior companion but I was wrong, I will be District Leader here. My companion will be the senior companion and I'm going to be the DL.

It's kinda weird. I still don't really know how it's gonna work out. The word is that President Leal has called a lot of young missionaries as seniors and there are a lot more senior comps than there are junior comps in our mission. So this transfer he put a ton of elders who were already senior together. I don't really mind. Evangelista has been in this area for over 4 months. He knows the area, members, bishop, and the investiagators. I'm just gonna follow him around.

He tells me that we have 2 baptisms marked for the 15th of March. One is an old lady that is sick and she just chills in her bed all day. I guess my comp talked with President Leal about her. We dont know if she'll physically be able to get baptized yet. The other baptism is a little 11 year old girl who hasn't been baptized yet. Her parents are active and everything but she's never been interested in getting baptized until now. It seems like she'll be easy to baptize.

Well I think that's about it. It's raining a ton here. I've realized that rain is way better than 100 degree heat. P-day was moved back to Wednesday so I'll hit you back on Wednesday.

I'm out -
